On September 19, 2024, the 2024 Yangtze River Delta Corporate Rule of Law Conference, co-organized by Guoyaoqindao Law Firm, was successfully held at W Hotel, Hongkou North Bund, Shanghai. This conference brought together government leaders, industry elites and experts and scholars to jointly study and solve trans-regional, systematic and connected rule of law issues, and promote the integrated development of the rule of law construction in the Yangtze River Delta region. One of the highlights of the conference was the official release of ESG standards announced by Guan Weiyong, Party Secretary and President of the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics (Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations). The launch of the ESG standard marks a solid step forward for the Yangtze River Delta region in promoting the green transformation of enterprises, fulfilling social responsibilities and improving corporate governance, and sets a new benchmark for the sustainable development of enterprises.
