"Peace Star" is an initiative by China Chang'an Network and the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission's Chang'an Sword to recognize everyday heroes contributing to building a “Safe China.” In January 2022, Li Shanshan from Guoyao Qindao (Jinan) Law Firm was honored as the only recipient of the first National Annual Peace Star award in Jinan. To encourage more lawyers to actively engage in the Peace China initiative, Guoyao Qindao Law Firm established the Peace Star Legal Services team in April 2022, organizing over 10 volunteer lawyers to actively promote legal education in schools, build safe communities, and conduct community governance activities under the “Peace Guardians” initiative. Through public service, they safeguard social justice and contribute to the nation’s peace and security.
The Youth Legal Education Center at Guoyao Qindao, composed of over 40 young volunteer lawyers, is dedicated to legal services for youth rights protection. They organize various activities, including on-campus legal education, legal lectures, mock trials, and patriotic education, using themes like "campus bullying." Under the leadership of Li Shanshan, the center’s head, the youth legal education programs evolved from basic lectures (1.0) to the “Multimedia Era Legal Practice Course” (4.0). By May 2022, over 9,000 students had benefited, creating a “Shandong model” in youth legal education.

Guoyao Qindao Law Firm New Employment Form Legal Service Center, which was approved by the United Front Work Department of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and supported by Lixia District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, is led by Qiu Shuai, a trusted lawyer for Jinan employees in 2021, focusing on providing one-stop legal consulting services for Internet platform enterprises, online car drivers, takeout runners, couriers, network broadcast and other new employment forms of workers. At present, it has more than 20 volunteer lawyers, accurately docking the needs of the masses of workers, and actively carrying out public welfare activities such as law popularization and publicity for new types of workers, legal aid, legal medical examination of labor enterprises, and law delivery to enterprises, using the rule of law to solve the demands of workers and enterprises, and realizing "labor has something to rely on, labor has something to gain, labor has success, and labor has happiness."
